Just a thought.

God LOVEd you so much that He gave His only son to die for you. My question here is, if that is true: who are you to hate yourself then? There is a power in our words. Power that is strong enough to put others and yourself down. It's no wonder that you feel miserable, if you always keep talking against your abilities and gifts. You are not just someone. You are a miracle in God's eyes. If God himself is saying that you are 'the apple of his eye', you better start believing in that yourself. You deserve better than hurting words from your own mouth. You deserve the truth that comes from His mouth.

Your playing small doesn't serve the world.

Something moved inside of me, when I red this poem. It made me understand our worth in God's eyes. I hope it engourages you, aswell, to be that person who God created you to be. In God we have a firm foundation to grow and learn more about ourselves. It's a base we were meant to live our lives, that's why it's safe for us to even make mistakes and still continue learning life, with Him!

Here it is...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous.
Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us --- it's in everyone!

And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciosly give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.
